Please remember that we have a 24 hour cancellation policy and we don't book, reschedule, or cancel appointments via email. If you miss your appointment or cancel/change it within 24 hours of the scheduled time you'll be charged for the appointment.

The Full Policy

LATE CANCELLATIONS AND NO SHOWS

We know that life happens and schedules can change, but in fairness to our practitioners, staff and other clients, if you no show/cancel late/reschedule within 24 hours of appointment, your card on file will automatically be charged for the appointment. If you’ve purchased a 10-card package (community acupuncture), you can have the missed/late-cancelled/late-rescheduled appointment deducted from the number of remaining appointments on the card at that rate.

Please call or use our online booking page if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We don’t accept appointment changes via email so please leave a voicemail if you can’t reach us directly. We honor the time you leave a voicemail.

We do our best to have you see the acupuncturist with whom you scheduled but emergencies happen and sometimes we need to step in for each other on really short notice. If this happens you may end up seeing another of our acupuncturists. Please remember that all of our acupuncturists are skilled, insightful and have access to your history and chart notes so you will be well taken care of by whoever treats you.


LATE ARRIVALS

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment so you can check in, use the bathroom, gather your blanket and relax in your chair by your scheduled treatment time. Part of the benefit of getting acupuncture is the deep unwinding that happens while you’re in the chair. Trying to squeeze a treatment in between errands or on a strict deadline detracts from that benefit. Please give yourself some space and time around your treatment to relax before and after the session.

Please be in your chair ready for your treatment at the time of your appointment. If you arrive 5 minutes or more after your treatment is scheduled you’ll be charged for the appointment without being treated. Our schedule is usually fully booked so we can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to take late arrivals without impacting other patients who arrive on time

We do our best to run on time, but like any doctor’s office we sometimes run a little late. If we’re running late and you decide to leave without being treated, you’ll be charged for the appointment.
